Flood Sensor Aunty is a family-friendly, funny play about a flood sensor working at her aunt’s chai shop who wants to be a movie star. Halfway between really funny devised theater and culturally competent community disaster prevention, this show is about how knowing your neighbors is the best way to protect yourself from flooding, climate change, and despair. Thanks to support from NYC Emergency Management, Rebuild by Design, and more, we'll perform at Snug Harbor's Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 19th at 1:30 pm with free flood preparedness giveaways!
Sabina Sethi Unni is a public theater artist, community organizer, and urban planner dedicated to telling funny stories about our changing climate. As a second-generation Long Islander, she has nothing but love for her Staten Island cousins.
