Earth Day on The North Shore Esplanade

Celebrate Earth Day with a vibrant afternoon of outdoor fun, learning, and environmental stewardship along Staten Island’s North Shore! Join local organizations, educators, and community leaders for an exciting lineup of activities that highlight climate awareness and ecological care in honor of NYC Climate Week.

🌱 Event Highlights Include:

  • A nature walk and scavenger hunt with NYC Park Rangers

  • Interactive play and games with The NYC Parks Playmobile

  • A shoreline clean-up of the Kill Van Kull, led by the Natural Resource Protective Association

  • Special appearance by Frankie the Staten Island Ferry Hawk

  • Hands-on crafts, chess games, and family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon

This is a free, fun, and family-oriented event designed to inspire local action and foster love for our natural spaces. Whether you’re a nature lover, environmental advocate, or just looking for something to do with the kids, Earth Day on the Esplanade offers something for everyone!
